For me lighting a candle has become an evening ritual. I get home from work, set down my bag and keys, pop the heating on and light my favourite candle. Lighting a candle signifies that it’s time to relax.

You’ve heard it said that “The ocean cures all.” For years I will admit that I thought about Bath Salts much like pot-pourri – one of those things hanging around bathrooms in the 80s with no specific function other than to gather dust. It is only in the last little while that I have begun to understand that natural bath salt have true therapeutic qualities. Submerging our bodies into a warm bath with salt is proven to be one of the best ways to restore ourselves after a long day. This beautiful ritual soothes the muscles, hydrates the skin, detoxifies the body, and relieves internal swelling. The macro and trace minerals can actually be drawn into the bloodstream during a warm bath, which can help to balance out the entire body.
