What has been the highlight of your brand/career to date?

I would have to say a career highlight the satisfaction I have felt this year as our team has adapted to growth and change. So many of us have been here for a really long time so we have seen Zjoosh develop from a small wholesale brand to a much larger organisation with 17 stores across 3 states. With that growth came the need to adopt more sophisticated warehousing and stock control practices and processes which are a huge departure from our earliest days. Seeing our team embrace these changes has been amazing.

I am genuinely fascinated by people and their stories. I LOVE working with people from all cultures and ages. Working with women older than me who bring their knowledge and experience to our team is priceless, and I am constantly in awe of “the Youth” as I like to call them. The things they can do and their open minded approach to embracing change and new technology is so exciting. I love to “listen to the kids” and watch them do really hard things.

Apart from having a creative role in the business, I would say that a large proportion of my time is spent managing people which I have discovered I really love. With 125 women and 4 men on our team, it’s a real privilege to interact with so many people every day. Coming from a legal background I enjoy solving problems and resolving disputes when they arise which is fortunately not very often. Having a career where there is so much variety in a day is ideal for a person like me who thrives on having lots of things on the go at the same time.

I work with my husband (on a Monday) who is good at lots of stuff I know nothing about, and I also work with my 2 daughters who are a tonne of fun and great at what they do. I am under no illusion that they will stay at Zjoosh forever, but I love seeing them grow and develop in a supportive environment with some super smart mentors.

Anyone who knows me knows I love a laugh. Having fun at work is really important to me. We all work super hard, but there is a good amount of fun too! It’s a super fun workplace where we celebrate birthdays and first days and baby showers and you name it. We have A Zjoosh Girl’s at Home group chat which is a place for everyone to share the love or something funny as we stay connected as team.

There was a moment at our last Zjoosh Christmas party when the dance floor was packed with all our gorgeous team all dressed in white having an absolute blast.  I stopped for a sec and thought “Wow. I’m so proud to be part of this”.

Describe your style in three words 

Ok 3 words. Strong, polished, accessorised.

I am drawn to quite a polished look. I have a neat hair obsession and I like quality pieces which are timeless. White shirts, blazers, good cashmere and always good jewels. I love accessories and a solid arm party is always part of the look.

What’s your daily go-to outfit?

Zjoosh Denim, Zjoosh White Everyday shirt, sneakers, boots or chunky slides, a Zjoosh blazer or coco jacket, Caddis Eyewear, Stacked bracelets, Hair back.

What’s the best advice you’ve ever been  given?

There are always people who can do the things you can’t and anything is possible with the right team. I have the best team I could possibly wish for and I’m super excited for the future of Zjoosh.
