How to Care — Silk
Our silk pieces are made from high quality natural fibers that are delicate but long-lasting. To keep your silk soft and smooth for years to come, do not wash at home—professional dry clean only.

Step by Step
Always read the individual garment label. Silk pieces are dry clean only. When in doubt, opt for dry cleaning or spot treatment rather than a full wash.
To maintain the integrity and luster of the silk fibers, this garment should only be professionally dry cleaned. Silk is sensitive to water and household detergents; professional cleaning ensures the fabric remains supple and the colors stay vibrant.
Avoid attempting to spot-clean stains at home with water or soap, as this can cause permanent water rings or fiber distortion. Instead, point out specific stains to your professional dry cleaner so they can apply the appropriate specialized treatment.
When not in use, store your garment in a cool, dry place away from direct light. Use a padded hanger to maintain the garment’s shape and avoid sharp creases. For long-term storage, breathable cotton garment bags are recommended over plastic.
If the garment becomes wrinkled, do not use a standard household iron on high heat. Use a professional-grade steamer on a low setting, keeping the nozzle a safe distance from the fabric. For the best results, have your dry cleaner press the garment professionally.

A Note on Longevity
Silk rewards patience and a gentle hand. Wash it rarely, handle it softly, and keep it from prolonged sun — and it will reward you with a lustre and drape that only deepens and refines with time.
