How to Care — Homeware
Silk homewares bring a quiet luxury to everyday living. Delicate by nature, they reward careful handling with a drape and lustre that no other fabric can replicate.

Step by Step
Fill a basin with cool water and a small amount of silk-specific or gentle liquid detergent. Submerge the piece and move it gently through the water — never wring, twist or scrub.
If machine washing, use a mesh laundry bag and select the delicate or silk cycle with cold water. A short, gentle spin is fine — never use a full or heavy cycle.
Rinse in cool, clean water until all detergent is removed. Residual soap left in silk fibres can weaken them and cause the fabric to lose its sheen over time.
Gently press out excess water using a clean towel — never wring. Lay flat or hang to dry in the shade. Direct sunlight fades silk and weakens the fibres. Never tumble dry.
If ironing is needed, use the lowest heat setting while the fabric is still slightly damp. Always iron on the reverse side and avoid steam, which can cause water marks on silk.

A Note on Longevity
Silk is one of the most refined natural fibres in the world. It asks for a little more consideration than most — but treat it with care and it will retain its extraordinary softness and sheen for years to come.
