Wanted a shorter trench, but not cropped too short. The length of the trench is perfect! The fit is a smaller fit and I went up a size to be able to wear a knit under it. Love the colour of the trench and goes with everything. The coat looks just as good wore open or buttoned up and belted, nice and slimming around the waist area. The lining of navy & white stripe goes well with the colour and can be worn winter, spring or autumn.

Excellent material, protect from wind and rain. Excellent cut, fits me perfectly. Very happy with the purchase.

I really want to love this jacket. It’s a perfect deep blue colour that works well with so many outfits - white, beige and blue jeans casually. I haven’t reached for it as much as I thought during winter for work though, as it’s not as warm as my other wool coat and doesn’t go with many of my work bottoms. I'm yet to try it with my beige wool Zjoosh skirt, which I think would work nicely. I’m hoping it will come in handy through Spring/Autumn. It really dresses the outfit up, and adds a smart, polished edge. I love how the fabric has a slight stretch to it, as it doesn’t feel stiff, and fits perfectly. I chose size 14 so I can layer underneath. I’m between a 12 and 14 on top usually. It’s not too tight on the shoulders like some jackets (due to the slight stretch). Only problem is it’s a bit short compared to some of my under layers as I like to wear things that cover my butt well. I guess that adds to the look though. I really want to love it and hope I’ll wear it more in the coming months. I’m also wondering if it were not double breasted if I’d wear it more. It’s a really beautiful, smart jacket that has so much potential. Only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of five, is that I haven’t worn it as much as I thought I would.

Like the little black dress this well-cut classic staple is the best add on to my wardrobe. Comfortable, easy to wear, dress it up or down, it's my go-to jacket when I dash out the door.

This coat is perfect for anyone who would like to achieve elevated appearance. Navy is forgiving color to anyone. Great investment, you can dressed it up or go smart casual with it. Quality coat for a fraction of the cost.
